September Newsletter

Goodbye, summer! We had a blast this season and look forward to more great events over the fall and winter. Now that the busy season is over, we will be changing gears and going into work mode. There will be plenty of volunteer activities to come out and help with in the next few months. Keep an eye out for them on our facebook page.

Whatever Floats 2018

The Whatever Floats event held by the Park Naturalist was a great hit! We plan to make it bigger and better next year.
A big thank you to those that came out and volunteered with the event and hot dog sale. That was a success too.

Photography Contest Winners

Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 Photography Contest!
2018 Winner - Kyri Miller

Kyri Miller took first place with her photo of the new water trail.
Lisa Priestly won second place with her photo of the Great Blue Heron.
Rana Watson won third place with her photo of the Mallard.
Thank you to all that entered. We had 66 photos entered this year, and it was a tough decision to narrow it down to the final three.
