Naturalist Activities For the Weekend of August 3rd

Naturalist Activities Friday, August 3rd 5:30pm Snake Craft!- Meet the Naturalist in the Activities Room to make an awesome snake before you see real ones at 7pm! 7pm Snakes Alive! – Come to the Activities room to meet DNR Biologist Jim Fregonara and learn all about the live snakes he’ll show! Get there early for a good seat! YPP Saturday, August 4th 11:00am Tie Dye! Pick up a t-shirt at the camp store (or bring your own) and meet the Naturalist behind the headquarters building to tie dye your shirt. You can also bring bandanas, shoes, towels, hats, etc.! Beech Fork shirts are in the store for $8 plus tax. If you bring your own items the activity costs $3 dollars to cover the cost of materials. 2:00pm Meet the Naturalist at the campfire circle for a gentle walk to learn about the new pollinator field and see some Beech Fork wildlife YPP 4pm Fishing Contest– Kids 14 and under can bring their fishing poles to the dock behind the boat rentals to try and win ice cream! YPP Sunday, August 5th 12:00pm Bocce Ball– Find the Naturalist in the camp store and save him from paperwork! We’ll play a game of Bocce Ball in the yard behind headquarters!
